Steelers remain unbeaten through Week 11
The Pittsburgh Steelers smoked the Jacksonville Jaguars 27-3. The game was played on a bright day in Jacksonville, Fla. The Steelers’ defense was too much for the Jags’ offense to handle.
They held the Jaguars to only three points and 206 yards total the entire game. The Steelers’ defense also had four interceptions, two by arguably the best safety in the NFL Minkah Fitzpatrick, and the other two by the other safety Terrell Edmonds. The D-line also held the outstanding rookie running back James Robinson to only 73 rushing yards.
Pittsburgh also had a chunk of help with the offense. Ben Roethlisberger threw for 267 yards and went 32-46 passing. The veteran quarterback had two touchdowns, one to rookie wide receiver Chase Claypool, and the other to his tight-end Eric Ebron. Wide Receiver Diontae Johnson had an outstanding game with 12 receptions for 111 yards.
The Steelers’ running game also contributed to this win. They ran the ball for a total of 106 yards. Pitt graduate James Conner had 13 carries for 89 yards. Benny Snell Jr. had seven carries for only 15 yards but he had a touchdown.
The Pittsburgh Steelers were too much to handle for the Jacksonville Jaguars, and they got the job done on the road.
The Steelers are coming back home to play the Baltimore Ravens. The game was supposed to be played on Thanksgiving, but due to players on the Ravens testing positive COVID, the game has been postponed to Sunday.
The Ravens just came off of a loss at home against the Tennessee Titans in overtime. This great division rivalry game will be watched all around the world and you won’t want to miss it.
