Will Antonio Brown still be a threat to the NFL?

When Antonio Brown returns to the NFL after his suspension, it is rumored that he could go to the Seahawks and play with a seven-time pro-bowler quarterback. If Antonio can put up the stats he has been putting all career, he will most likely gain his respect back. The man who was mocked, called names, and suspended could make a huge comeback, and here is why I think so.

The Madden curse is the theory of how every player on the “Madden” video game cover has gotten their career ruined completely. No other Madden cover athlete was hit harder than Antonio Brown. After a phenomenal season with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2018, Antonio Brown was announced the cover athlete for “Madden 20.” Shortly after, the Steelers would trade him to the Oakland Raiders for a couple of draft picks. This is when things started to get worse; he then proceeded to make an issue about not being able to wear his helmet in the NFL.  No one really acknowledged the fact that Antonio Brown wanted that helmet really bad. He ended up not going to any practices for a long period of time, which caused him to get suspended a couple of weeks. Then shortly after, while a member of the New England Patriots organization, he got a straight uppercut to the face with a rape accusation. These are anyone’s nightmares if you had the season he had before.

Even though some people might think he is washed, I believe that he still has a lot of kick left in him. If you look at his social media and some others, they show Antonio Brown not stopping the grind of putting the work in. From what people have heard, he has been coaching a young receiver on the Pittsburgh Steelers. From this information, we can grasp that he is ready to hop back into the NFL with no hesitation. He also apologized to his former teammate Ben Roethlisberger and his coach Mike Tomlin. If I were the Steelers, I would steal Antonio Brown from everyone there because he definitely still has a soft spot for the Steelers.

This all shows that Antonio Brown can transform a clown into a crown real quick if he can keep up what he did his past years of playing football.

As of Oct. 23, sources say that Antonio Brown has signed a one-year contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
