Miller joins Hawk Eye staff
This semester, there is a new member joining the Hawk Eye staff, sophomore Riley Miller. She decided to come to this class from a study hall. We are all really excited to have her.
Miller is a multisport athlete playing basketball in the winter and lacrosse in the spring. This year, she is a starter on the 16-1 girls basketball team and absolutely killing it. She is averaging seven points and five rebounds a game as a point guard.
Lacrosse is her main sport and the one she’s most passionate about. Last season, she ended the season with 35 goals. That was the most on the team. Miller is getting interests from many colleges to continue her lacrosse career.
She is not just a fantastic athlete, she is also stellar in the classroom. She currently takes three honors classes that include Algebra 2, History, and Biology. Her GPA is 4.0. She is also a part of the REACH committee in PACS. She is looking to be inducted into the National Honors Society this upcoming spring.
Miller is really excited about joining the staff. She’s excited to bring all her different opinions to the paper. Sports articles are her cup of tea, but she wants to be more versatile. Make sure you’re on the lookout for Riley Miller on the court, field, and Hawk Eye.
