IN AN INTIMATE MOMENT, Steelers’ QB Ben Roethlisberger shakes hands with teammate, wide receiver Antonio Brown during their game against the Redskins on September 12, 2016. The Steelers won the game 38-16.

It took three weeks for the team, but seemed like an eternity for the fans. The Pittsburgh Steelers finally got their first win of the season Monday night in Tampa Bay.

In the beginning of the game, it looked like the Steelers of the first two games–sloppy. A quick three-and-out and an interception on their first two drives set up the Buccaneers for an early score.

The next drive, though, turned the game around.

On 3rd and 10, the 28-year-old tight end out of Rice University embarrassed Tampa Bay defender Chris Conte with a devastating stiff arm.

And then Twitter blew up.

Not only did he embarrass him by knocking him over, he then ran the rest of the field for a 75-yard touchdown. Though the Steelers still trailed after the failed extra point, they had all the momentum.

The Steelers would go out and score 24 points in the 2nd quarter. After Boswell’s field goal, the Buccaneers would have three turnovers the rest of the quarter, one of which was a pick-six by Bud Dupree. Roethlisberger also had a 27-yard touchdown pass to Antonio Brown and another to Ryan Switzer. They led 30-10 at the half.

The 2nd half was a different story though, as the Buccaneers battled back. The Steelers struggled offensively, but they hung onto the lead. After a late first down, Roethlisberger took a kneel to secure the 30-27 victory.

The Steelers are now 1-1-1, and their next game is Sunday, Sept. 30, at 8:20 p.m. against the Baltimore Ravens at Heinz Field.
