If you have noticed an unusual amount of newly blonde hair at BPHS, you can credit it to the boys varsity hockey team. The Hawks have officially clinched a playoff spot for the PIHL 2018 season.

The Hawks are set to play against Seneca Valley on Monday, March 5 at 7 p.m. This will be a road game at Baierl Ice Complex for Bethel Park, as Seneca Valley is ranked as the higher seed. The Raiders have only lost four times in the eighteen-game season. But, one of these losses does come from the  Black Hawks.

In the regular season, the teams have split their games. The Hawks beat Seneca 2-1 then later fell to the Raiders 3-1. The game should be even and the score should be tight. This game will hopefully prove to be a very competitive playoff match-up .
