Boys freshman soccer triumphs in first stadium game

On Monday, Oct. 6, the boys freshman soccer team defeated Canon Mac 3-0.

It was the first stadium game this year for the freshman. Going into the game, Bethel had already won an earlier game against the same team.

The game started out shaky for BP possession wise. At the same time the defense was able to play well, breaking up Canon Mac’s drives and unavailing a successful drive.

And then the scoring started for BP as Nolan #41 got on a break away and put it past the goalie. That was the start of BP’s dominance throughout the game. They scored two more goals in the second half.

Canon Mac was sloppy throughout the whole time and could not get any offensive success.

The team also defeated Baldwin 7-1 later that week.
