Who knew a game of bingo could help families find a home away from home?
Juniors Carly Conroy and Carson Foote and senior Nolan Laskovich are conducting a Hearts and House Bingo for their DECA project! Their mission is to raise funds and awareness for the non-profit Ronald McDonald House in Pittsburgh!
Nolan Laskovich says, “It’s more than volunteering; it’s being part of something that truly changes lives,” and that is truly inspiring.

The event will take place at Independence Middle School on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 and include one bingo card per 10 rounds of bingo and a door prize ticket.
DECA is a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) focused on developing entrepreneurial, financial, public speaking, and leadership skills in high school and college students. DECA’s mission is to instill a love for business and leadership while fostering a culture

Their event will draw more than 250 people from the South Hills area, who will enjoy drinks, bingo games, cash and product prizes, and the opportunity to win great baskets. Proceeds from ticket sales will all benefit the Ronald McDonald House.
