All hail the 2020 Homecoming court!
Nothing is typical about this year, so why should Homecoming be any different? The Homecoming court, normally announced at the Homecoming football game, was announced at the Homecoming Festival Saturday Night at the stadium.
Congratulations to:
- Marching Band nominee Courtney Kiesling
- Swim team nominee Grace Myers
- Girls soccer nominee Lanie Kauric
- Cheerleading nominee Ashleigh Sepesky
- Softball nominee Gianna Sciullo
- Top 21 nominee Bill Kumer
- Science Club nominee Toby Roule
- Cross Country nominee Jackson Banes
- Track and Ultimate Frisbee nominee Scott Orzechowski
- DECA nominee Nick Massari
“I’m so grateful to have this opportunity! I didn’t expect to be nominated, but it’s so nice of everyone to vote for me!” said Bill Kumer.
“It feels great to be nominated! It’s so awesome that we still get to have a Homecoming court for our class, given the circumstances with COVID-19,” said Courtney Kiesling.
In the week prior to the festival, students got in the Homecoming spirit by participating in the various dress-up days.
At the festival, students participated in a corn-hole tournament and enjoyed Bethel Bakery donuts and Chick-fil-A sandwiches.
Congratulations to all of our 2020 Homecoming Court nominees!
Stay tuned for the announcement of Homecoming King, Queen, Prince, and Princess at the football game this Friday, Oct. 23!
Stay Black Hawk proud and wish our nominees good luck!
