Brendan Todd is the winner of the 2015 Man of the Year competition.
The annual competition, hosted by Senior Ways and Means, was held in the auditorium on April 9 at 7 p.m.
The undefeated seniors won the dance category.
Senior Brian Malarkey was the photogenic winner, senior Bryce Carter was the personality winner, sophomore Jonathan Lucchitti was the formal wear winner, freshman Patrick McCall was the talent winner, and freshman Jacob Nuttridge was the “minute to win it” winner.
Emcees Ethan Wdowiak, Ben Wallace, and Tyler Petrossi entertained the crowd in between acts by singing songs and telling jokes.
At the end, the Faculty Five teacher group performed a dance. They are: Mr. Santora, Mr. Travis, Mr. Gentile, Mr. Allemang, and Mr. O’Brien.
One of the students who attended the event was senior Taylor Scalise. She said, “This was the best Man of the Year yet! The group dances were hilarious and I loved the different categories!”
Overall, it was a night that many students at BPHS were looking forward to and will never forget. Participants in Man of the Year have high expectations to follow for years to come.
