Hoagie Sale #4 quickly approaches
It is that time of year again. The BPHS Music Department is selling their famous band hoagies again. This will be the fourth sale of the school year, and it is on February 28.
They sell these hoagies, so they can go on a Spring Trip every year to compete. This year, members of the Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, Symphonic Orchestra, and Top 21 will be traveling to Virginia Beach from April 23- 27.
People from all over Bethel Park buy these hoagies, and they have three options. They can buy a Turkey hoagie, which has turkey and cheese on it. Lettuce and tomato come on the side. A regular hoagie has ham, salami, bologna, tomato and lettuce on it. The most popular hoagie is the special, which is the same as a regular, but have lettuce and tomato on the side. They are $6 each.
Students wake up early on Saturday morning to make these hoagies. While at Virginia Beach, they will compete in various events, and always do very well. The music department and their hoagies are a tradition that everyone in the community knows about. They make a plethora of hoagies for people in the community, so join the trend and buy one to support the music department!
