Many BPHS student’s would say that it is one of the best feelings when Vicki Flotta calls and says that there is a two hour delay. It is stressful to wait for the phone call every morning, but there are some days coming up where we do not need to wait.

This year, we have had a few two hour delays because of Act 80 days, and there are more to come. One is coming up this month on Tuesday, Feb. 17. They are also on Monday, March 9 and Thursday, April 30.

They are days that many students enjoy, including seniors Taylor Scalise and Krista Van Dyke. Scalise said, “I love two hour delays! The extra two hours of sleep make my day so much better!”

Van Dyke said, “I like two hour delays because they give me a chance to go get breakfast with my friends.”

So as the weather becomes better and we get less calls from Mrs. Flotta, we know that we still have some delays to look forward to because of Act 80 days.
