Bethel Park thinks pink
Breast cancer awareness month is just starting off here in Bethel. On Friday, Oct. 3, our football team faces the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils. The game is going to be a pink out.
In anticipation for the pink out, we have quite a few sales going on around school and the district.
PACS has been selling pink bandanas this week during lunch periods for $1 . Teachers have been promoting the event through flyers in their classrooms as the school comes together to raise awareness for breast cancer.
In addition, the Bethel Park Football Boosters are helping out as well. The organization is selling “Tackle Breast Cancer” t-shirts. The t-shirts only cost $10 to support a great cause. The proceeds benefit The Young Women’s Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation. Please contact Ms. Christenson with your name, homeroom, and size with cash or a check made payable to the Bethel Park Football Boosters if you are interested.
Be sure to come out to the game at 7 p.m. here at the stadium, and don’t forget to wear your pink to show your support for breast cancer awareness.
