“The world needs storytellers,” April brucker said. On Friday, Oct. 25, April Brucker, actress, ventriloquist, stand-up comedian, writer, singing telegram delivery girl, and Bethel Park alum, spoke to the journalism and creative writing classes about writing. April left a postive message with the students inspiring them to follow their dreams. “You can be a master of your own destiny,” April said. She gave a book signing at the South Hills Village Barnes and Noble on Saturday, Oct. 26, promoting her new book, I Came, I Saw, I Sang: Memoirs of a Singing Telegram Delivery Girl. She left the students with three things to be a sucessful writer: 1.) Write, 2.) Put it down on paper, and 3.) Don’t give up.
