Actress, ventriloquist, standup comedian, writer, and singing telegram preformer. Who does all these different things? She is a former Bethel Park graduate, and her name is April Brucker.
April will be speaking to the journalism and creative writing classes on Friday, Oct. 25. She will also interview with Hawk Eye in the Black Hawk TV studio.
April currently lives in New York City. She has been on many different TV shows including The Today Show, My Strange Addiction, and Rachel Ray. She has preformed in comedy clubs all over the United States and parts of Canada. Her song “Stay” was number one on FJS Radio for four weeks.
April’s curriculum vitae includes hundreds of publications, most recently her book, I Came , I Saw, I Sang: Memoirs of a Singing Telegram Delivery Girl. In fact, she will be doing a book signing at the Barnes and Noble Booksellers at South Hills Village Mall on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
