Hawk Eye Hodge Podge
Opened in 2019, Reginald’s is a coffee shop that resides in the Bethel Park Historical Society Schoolhouse building.
Reginald’s has humble beginnings, being started by a husband and wife team who have a passion for coffee.
Their dog, Reginald, inspired the name of their business, and they claim to also have a love of old buildings, providing a reason for their distinctive building location.
Their menu includes items like espressos, lattes, teas, and pastries.
They partner with different bakers to provide their customers with different daily pastries.
However, Reginald’s isn’t only local.
Their coffee beans, and some merch, can be purchased online through their website.
It’s safe to say, Reginald’s implementation into Bethel Park has been a success, leaving an impact on both the area and the people.
The Los Angeles wildfires are a mix of human and natural factors.
Beginning on Jan. 7, the fires have engulfed a large portion of Los Angeles, Ca.
Killing 27 people as of Jan. 22 and destroying over 12,300 homes, the tragedy may go down as one of the worst in modern history.
Some fires have been contained throughout recent weeks including the Lidia, Archer, Woodley, Sunset, Kenneth, Hurst, and Auto fires but many remain.
Many are currently still in action trying to prevent future risks and damages in the oncoming months.
With the Tiktok ban looming over the US for the past few weeks, many individuals hearts dropped when they opened the app late Saturday night (a couple hours before the day that the ban was set to be in effect) to be greeted with a message telling them that the app has been officially banned.
Many people were shocked that the ban had actually gone through since there have been many scares on the app in the past.
Some US citizens spent the early hours of Sunday restless, mourning the app that brought them so much connection to others and the quick ways of finding joy through the platform.
However, at around 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon, TikTok was suddenly back.
In a message thanking President Trump, loyal app users were ecstatic to see the return.
Though it raised some questions in people, asking why the ban ended up being only for a few hours and why Trump is now against the TikTok ban when he originally was supporting it a few years back.
Even with political questions aside, many people also took the time to realize how addicted to TikTok, let alone social media, they truly are.
With time, hopefully, more will come out on the situation involving the ban itself, and maybe some US Americans will use this temporary scare as a sign and maybe try to cut back usage of social media and find more valuable ways to spend their time. Only time will tell.
Currently, there is a very rare winter storm passing through the Gulf Coast and in the Southern US.
This snow has led to multiple school and road closures and flight cancellations.
Rayne, Louisiana has recieved over 10 inches of snow. Lousina also received their very first blizzard warning.
Parts of Florida have also received over six inches of snow.
Even though this may be considered normal in Pennsylvania or other parts of the North, this is very unusual and something many Southerners are not used to.
