Body of missing BP woman found in South Park
The body of Bethel Park resident Dianne Lynn Chotta was discovered Jan. 6 near the 6300 block of Library Rd. on the hillside behind the Rite Aid after being reported missing Dec. 27.
Chotta, 52, was last seen in the evening of Dec. 27 leaving My Place Bar on Brownsville Rd. in South Park.
The search for Ms. Chotta was managed by the Bethel Park Police Department.
Chotta’s car was discovered Jan. 3, several days after her disappearance, at the Port Authority’s Park and Ride lot near the Trolley Stop Inn restaurant on Library Rd.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner and BPPD have ruled out foul play after an examination of the site of the body’s recover as well as an initial examination of the body.
