Opening day of trout fishing season was April 1.

For the past couple years, the prices for an annual resident license in PA has been around the same price which is in the $20 range. And as of this year, it’s $22.90.

But the commission is aiming to raise the price to $27.30 for next year’s season.

So, next year when you buy your fishing license, don’t be surprised if the price is higher than usual.
