Pup of the Week: BoomBoom

Pup of the Week is a new edition to Hawk Eye. A DECA Public Relations project, Fido for a Change, aims to help raise awareness for local animal shelters, such as Animal Friends and South Hills Pet Rescue. Another goal of the project is to educate people on the perks of adopting a dog from and supporting local animal shelters in place of adopting from a private breeder.

“Remember to adopt and not shop,” says student Wil Dunn, the head of the project along with Nick Marstellar. The first Pup of the Week is BoomBoom, a Dachshund mix.
