Many students all over the world are doing online school to finish out the school year, but one thing about it is that it is quite boring. I will tell you why actually going to school is way nicer than online.

First, online school takes a lot of time. Sometimes it can take up to three hours just to complete one day’s worth of work and sometimes longer depending on the length of the assignment. Students honestly have better things to do like exercise, or like me for example, go to work early in the day.

In school it only takes 41 minutes per class, which I understand is longer than online, but at least you get to go from classroom to classroom instead of staring at a computer screen for three hours.

Another reason why online school is not good is that throughout a school day in school, you can talk to all your friends in person and just be around people. You are in complete isolation at home doing work and it can get very boring. It’s important to have a social life.

Many people may disagree with me but I really don’t think it’s 100% necessary to finish up your school year on the computer. Instead, what schools across America should do is get rid of the 180-day requirement and give students a break from schoolwork.

There is something that is much more important than online schoolwork, and that is making sure you keep yourself and your family safe from catching the Coronavirus. After all, education can definitely wait when it comes to a life or death situation like the Coronavirus.
