When asked about her initial reaction to being accepted at Ohio University, Suher said, “I was very excited and relieved when Ohio contacted me because it was my number one choice and my dad went there.”
Beyond her academic accomplishments, Suher’s involvement in the community reflects her character and values. She is an active member of the Greek Orthodox Youth of America (GOYA), where she engages with fellow youth to grow spiritually and foster a sense of belonging.

Alongside GOYA, Eleni aspires to do much more once she is fully moved into Ohio University.
“I am most excited to meet new friends and start learning more about criminology,” she said.
