Taylor Garland, bookworm and writer. Taylor is a junior at BPHS and is taking her first year of journalism.
When asked what made her interested in writing for the school paper or yearbook, she responded, "I have always liked writing. I like being able to share my opinion and give detailed responses about topics I like." She is hoping to write book reviews to share her opinion to others who enjoy reading.
On top of reading and writing, Taylor likes video games and hanging out with friends. She often stays up late playing her favorite game, Minecraft, with some of her friends.
After graduating, she wants to go to college in New York and study criminology. She hopes to become a detective in the police force but would like to work for the FBI.
In the future, Taylor hopes to travel to Greece and Italy. "I think they are very pretty countries and I enjoy the foods from there."
She also would prefer to travel back in time rather than to the future. She wants to relive some of her favorite events or memories.
