Tanner Pfeuffer’s pass is complete!
The three-year starter has just announced that he will be taking his academics to study engineering and minor in accounting and his athletics to play Divison II football at Frostburg State University.
“I really liked the campus when I got there for the first time in October. I also really liked the coaches and their plan for me.”
Pfeuffer has been playing football since he was just five years old. From a very young age, Pfeuffer has looked to his older brothers.
“I am the youngest of five, so I was always trying to be like them in that aspect. A QB I try to model myself as is Joe Burrow,” said Pfeuffer.
When asked about his recruiting process, he said: “The recruiting process was complicated navigating through it all. It’s a big decision and I feel like Frostburg was the best one. It was very tough visiting all of the schools and deciding which one was the best fit for me.”
When asked about what’s the one thing you’re most excited to experience in college football, the QB said: “I am very excited for this next chapter in my life. I look forward to competing at the collegiate level and being able to play the game I love even more.”
Pfeuffer has been a three-year starter for the Hawks. In his three years, he has a record of 24-12. The QB also passed the 6,000 career passing yard milestone. Only 22 QBs in WPIAL history have ever done this.
