Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers attempts a pass during a game against the Washington Football Team at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, PA on December 7, 2020. Monday, Jan. 3 could be Roethlisberger’s last game at Heinz Field.

Ben Roethlisberger, one of the greatest QBs in Steelers history, is most likely playing his final game at Heinz Field Monday night.

He has done as much as you can ask for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has a career record with the Steelers of 164-82-1. He has won two Super Bowls for the Pittsburgh Steelers and has been a six-time Pro Bowler. He is as close to a living legend for the Steelers as you can have and will be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

It will be loud when Roethlisberger runs onto the field one last time, and one can only imagine Steelers Nation will want him to know how much they love him.

This game against the Cleveland Browns will be one of Roethlisberger’s most important regular-season games he will ever play. He will want to win this last home game more than any other person on this field. He wants to leave Heinz Field and Steelers Nation his last time on a high note.

As far as the game goes, according to Espn.com, the Steelers are favored to beat the Cleveland Browns by two.

The way the Steelers’ offense will be able to beat the Browns is strong offensive line-play so Roethlisberger has more time to throw and Najee Harris has more holes to run through. The Browns have one of the strongest defensive lines in the NFL, and whoever wins this matchup will be a huge influence on how the game goes.

The Steelers’ defense has to force turnovers from Baker Mayfield and stop the Browns’ runningbacks especially star RB Nick Chubb. If the Steelers are able to do these two things, that should make it way easier for the Steelers to win this game.

The Steelers need to win this game not just for Roethlisberger, but also for their playoff chances because a loss eliminates the Steelers from playoff contention.

This is probably the biggest game of the year for the Steelers and Roethlisberger. A win would send home Steelers Nation and Steelers legend Ben Roethlisberger happy on Monday Night.
