Golden Knights look to eliminate Sharks in Game 5 in San Jose Thursday night

After an impressive 5-0 win against the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday night in Game 4 to take a 3-1 series lead, the Golden Knights have a chance to eliminate the San Jose Sharks in Game 5 Thursday night at 10 p.m. at SAP Center in San Jose.

The Sharks are facing elimination on Thursday, April 18 against the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 5.

When the 2019 Stanley Cup playoffs began, the Las Vegas Golden Knights started their mission to capture their first Stanley Cup.

In Game 1, the San Jose Sharks won by the score of 5-2 to take a 1-0 series lead.

In Game 2, Vegas won 5-3 to tie the series at 1 game apiece. And the Series shifted to Vegas for Games 3 and 4.

In Game 3, the Golden Knights fed off the rockiest hometown crowd in Las Vegas to a 6-3 win to take a 2-1 series lead.

In Game 4, the Golden Knights won as they shutout the Sharks 5-0 and took a commanding 3-1 series lead giving them a chance to eliminate the Sharks in five games.

When Thursday night comes around, the Golden Knights will have a chance to eliminate the Sharks in five games, and the Golden Knights will move on to the second round of the 2019 Stanley Cup playoffs. If not, the series will be 3-2 in favor of Vegas, and the Series will shift back to Vegas for Game 6 at a time to be determined.
