“The Flash” commits to Seton Hill

James Krandel, also known as “The Flash,” recently committed to Seton Hill University to continue his academic and athletic career.

This is what Krandel had to say about his recent commit and track career…

What about Seton Hill caught your eye? I really liked the coaching staff and just the school overall.

What other schools were interested in you? Duquesne University, St. Joseph’s College, and The University of Miami.

What will you be majoring in? I will be majoring in criminal justice.

What is your goal for this track season? My goal is to defend our 4×1 relay and to take the gold in the 100 meter dash.

What events do you run in track? I mainly run the 100m, 200m, and the 4×1 relay. Some meets I long jump if I’m in the mood.

What events do you want to run in college? I want to run the 100 meter dash and the 4×1 relay or any relay.

What is the fastest time you have ever ran and in what event was it? My fastest time was 10.8 seconds in the 100 meter dash.

What is your favorite memory from Bethel Park track? Definitely winning the 4×1 relay at WPIALS my junior year.
