Boys varsity hockey set for playoffs
If you have noticed an unusual amount of newly blonde hair at BPHS, you can credit it to the boys varsity hockey team. The Hawks have officially clinched a playoff spot for the PIHL 2018 season.
The Hawks are set to play against Seneca Valley on Monday, March 5 at 7 p.m. This will be a road game at Baierl Ice Complex for Bethel Park, as Seneca Valley is ranked as the higher seed. The Raiders have only lost four times in the eighteen-game season. But, one of these losses does come from the Black Hawks.
In the regular season, the teams have split their games. The Hawks beat Seneca 2-1 then later fell to the Raiders 3-1. The game should be even and the score should be tight. This game will hopefully prove to be a very competitive playoff match-up .
