On Thursday, Feb. 8, Gavin Vargesko and Tanner Volpatti both made a decision to continue their athletic and academic careers at Slippery Rock University.

Vargesko is 6’1, 250 lbs, and he will be playing defensive end.

Volpatti is 5’10, 195 lbs, and he will be playing strong safety.

The coaching staff at SRU was ecstatic to have these boys join the team.

Volpatti and Vargesko will be future roommates and teammates once again.

“I’m really excited to play with one of my buddies on the field since a young age again,” said Volpatti about Vargesko.

This is a huge accomplishment for the boys and we wish them luck in their college years!
