Hawks’ hockey survives the Golden Tornadoes
The boys’ varsity hockey team earned their first victory of the year, 3-2, over Butler on the evening of Thursday, Nov. 17.
Junior JC Bell said, “It was a hard fought win and a comeback.”
It was a tied game, 2-2, going into the third period before the Hawks came out with the win.
JC Bell had two goals and Tommy Worcester had one. The goalie Nick Guimond had around 30 saves. This was a great first win for the Hawks.
This game will give them momentum in their next game against Plum on Monday, Nov. 17.
