The Lady Hawks’ varsity volleyball team are the Elizabeth Forward Tournament champions!

The girls traveled to Court Time Sports Complex in Elizabeth on Saturday, Sept. 30 with their eyes set on the prize.

Their focus helped them cruise through pool play, where they went 6-0 against Laurel Highlands, California, and Belle Vernon.

Then, the girls defeated Uniontown and Greensburg Salem in the playoffs before taking down host team Elizabeth Forward for the title.

The girls hope to carry this momentum into this week’s games, as they play Seneca Valley at home on Monday, Oct. 2 and go to Peters Township on Thursday, Oct. 5.
