Girls’ lax edges the Panthers
On Friday, March 24, Bethel Park girls’ lacrosse beat Upper Saint Clair in a close sectional game ending with a score of 10-9.

In 2016, Upper Saint Clair beat the Lady Hawks 20-4.
This year’s win was unexpected, but the underdogs prevailed.

Both teams exchanged leads throughout the game.
At halftime, the score was 5-4 in favor of the Lady Hawks.
Senior Kayte Zeiler was the highest Bethel scorer earning five goals.
The other scorers were Zoe Zilcosky with two goals, and Jenny Gavett, Maddie Miller, and Cameron Happe with one goal each.
The Lady Hawks got their tenth goal within the last five minutes of the game and successfully stalled until it was over.
