Athlete of the Week: Noah Bussard
This week’s Athlete of the Week is senior boys’ lacrosse player Noah Bussard.
Noah picked up a stick for the first time 10 years ago. His brother played before him so he was the main reason Noah began to lax.
“My favorite memory is probably when my dad bought me my first lacrosse stick,” Noah said.
Noah has high hopes for the 2017 season. He believes his team could go all the way and come out with a WPIAL championship. He believes that the team can achieve this goal with hard work, determination, and the right mindset.
“We have the talent.”
Next year he will be attending Seton Hill University where he will continue his lacrosse career.
“Seton Hill was financially a great fit. It also has a low student-to-teacher ratio. I believe I will make an impact on the team as a freshman. It’s close to home and the coaches were the most genuine out of all the schools I’ve talked to in the recruiting process.”
He encourages younger players to hit the wall to improve their skills and become the best player they can be.
If you or anyone you know is interested in trying boys’ lacrosse, you can find more info here or in the BPHS Athletic Office.
