Varsity volleyball wallops Penn-Trafford, advances to semifinals
Jake Dixon had 21 kills, and #3 BP beat #6 Penn-Trafford, three sets to none at home on May 15.
BP got off to a quick start, winning the first set, 25-17. They then went on to secure the second set, 25-19. The third set proved to be the hardest, as Penn-Trafford (11-3) made it close late. However, thanks to Dixon, BP prevailed to win the set (25-22) and match.
BP (13-0) will go on to face #2 Seneca Valley (12-1) at Hampton High School on Wednesday, May 19. Seneca Valley beat #7 Norwin (10-4) three sets to none. If BP beats Seneca Valley, they will play in the championships; if they lose, they will play in the consolation final for third place.
