Steelers face uncertain season

Final score: 37-19 in favor of the Steelers. This was their most recent victory over the Carolina Panthers who were unable to uphold their undefeated season. The Steelers are now 2-1 with a win against rivals, Cleveland and a loss at Baltimore.

Although they had their glory, they have struggled a little bit during the first couple of games.

Against the Browns, they barely won, score 30-27, after leading by a large margin in the first half.

They fell to Baltimore 26-6 with a lack-luster performance from the defense and offense as well.

Their victory over the Panthers was a lot better for the struggling defense; although, Ike Taylor is out for the majority of the season with a broken arm, while rookie star Ryan Shazier and Jarvis Jones suffered less serious, but still hurtful, injuries.

The critics have had their doubts about this early Steelers team, but 2-1 is a good place to be to start out the year. The future could be interpreted anyway imaginable with the way the defense and offense are playing.

On the radio, Coach Tomlin and Roethlisberger both said, “There is no reason to be worried this early in the season.”

Hopefully, the Steelers’ new faces and old veterans will help make a push for the 2014-2015 playoffs and possibly a 7th Super Bowl.
