In an effort to further their blood drive’s reach, BPHS has announced the launch of a virtual blood drive in collaboration with Vitalant.
Vitalant is one of the nation’s largest nonprofit, independent blood services providers.
Founded in 1943, it operates 115 donation centers and hosts 6,000 blood drives annually.
Alongside what was just mentioned, the organization supplies blood components and medicine services to nearly 900 hospitals across the U.S.
People interested in participating can do so by scheduling an appointment through Vitalant’s website or by scanning a QR code available on an official flyer.
Donors must use the blood drive code ShowLove-6382-0 when booking their appointment.
All donations made through May 31 will count toward this year’s totals, helping to reach the school’s blood donation goals.
In addition, BPHS’s National Honor Society often hosts in-person blood drives, with their most recent being April 9.
This initiative is a great way for the community to help save lives and support those in need!
Blood donations are always in demand, especially during times when hospitals see an increase in emergencies.
For further information, feel free to follow the BPHS National Honor Society on their social media platforms to stay updated for what’s next.
Every donation counts, and together, the Bethel Park can help make a difference!
