As the days get longer and the temperature begins to rise in Bethel Park, it’s time to begin thinking about spring sports once again!
Whether a student is an athlete or just looking for a way to stay active, the opportunity is here.
The official try-out dates for each sport are listed below:
- Boys volleyball (JV/ varsity) Monday, March 2
- Grade 9 through Grade 12 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. (BPHS Main Gym)
- Boys tennis (JV/ varsity): Monday, March 2 to Tuesday, March 3
- Grade 9 through Grade 12 from 3 to 5 p.m. (BPHS Tennis Courts)
- Girls flag football (JV/ varsity): Monday, March 2 to Tuesday, March 3
- Grade 9 through Grade 12 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. (BPHS Turf Field #1)
- Boys baseball (freshman/JV/ varsity): Monday, March 2 to Thursday, March 5
- Grade 10 through Grade 12 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (BPHS South Gym)
- Grades 8 and 9 from 4:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. (BPHS South Gym)
- Boys lacrosse (JV/ varsity): Monday, March 2 to Friday, March 6
- Grade 9 through Grade 12 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. (BPHS Stadium)
- Co-Ed Track & Field: Monday, March 2 to Friday, March 6
- Grade 9 through Grade 12 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. (BPHS Stadium)
- Girls lacrosse (JV/ varsity): Monday, March 2 to Friday, March 6
- Grade 9 through Grade 12 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. (BPHS Stadium)
- Girls softball (JV/ varsity): Tuesday, March 3 to Wednesday, March 4
- Grade 9 through Grade 12 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday (BPHS Turf Field #2)
- Grade 9 through Grade 12 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday (D-Bat)
To participate in these sports, students will need the Bethel Park Athletic Department sports information sheet, a PIAA physical packet, and an AHN Release of Protected Health Information and Consent to Treatment form.
All of these forms can be found and downloaded on the Bethel Park Athletic Department website.
Once completed, the forms can be submitted to the BPHS athletic office or to your coach on the first day of practice.
