BPHS to hold virtual open house

The word “academics” welcomes students to said wing of the school.

In a normal year, hordes of parents storm the school eager to meet their children’s teachers and learn about the classes their children are taking.

Parents spend 10 minutes in each class as they journey through their children’s schedules.

This year to due to the sudden surge of COVID-19 cases, Open House will be held virtually for grades 7-12 on Wednesday, Sept. 22.

Each teacher will make a video that will discuss assignments and expectations for behavior that will be shared via email around 3:30 p.m. on that day.

The district made this option because of the large number of students and teachers at IMS and at the BPHS building. The Elementary schools and Neil Armstrong will host a normal in-person Open House due to the smaller amounts of students and teachers.

Parents, please be sure to check your email on Sept. 22 so that you do not miss out!
