Musicians from IMS and BPHS will be joining Grammy Award-winning instrumentalist Haydn Vitera for the musical event “Electrify Your Symphony” which will take place on Friday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. in the BPHS auditorium.

Students will be performing classic rock tunes on electric string instruments such as “Carry on Wayward Son,” “Runaway Baby,” “Thunderstruck,” “Stairway to Heaven,” and many more of course!

Sophomore Claudia Shrager said: “You can expect to see an awesome show that has the high school orchestras playing rock songs with acoustic and electric instruments. You can also see a cool lighting display that stage crew worked on to go along with the songs.”

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $5 from any participating musicians. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $8 on the evening of the performance.

Shrager also said: “EYS will rock to 9 songs, so it will rock a lot. There are also raffles you can win, and if you aren’t convinced yet, Haydn Vitera will also be there.”

We hope everyone can join this outstanding performance. If you have attended any previous events like this at the high school, you know it’s worth it!
