Pat McCall and sophomores win the MOTY awards

Sophomores show off their awards after winning Man of the Year.

On Wednesday, April 6, at the annual Man of the Year competition in the BPHS auditorium, sophomore Patrick McCall and the rest of the sophomores won big.

Each grade level performed a dance, and someone from each group competed in a competition, ranging from swimwear, formal wear, games, talent, and an interview.

The sophomores, which consisted of Patrick McCall, Jacob Nuttridge, Corey Fischer, Zach Rice, and Anthony Plutt, really stole the show in each category.

In addition to winning the Man of the Year title, Pat McCall also won the talent portion with his rendition of Beyonce’s “Single Ladies.”

Zach Rice won the swimwear competition, while Jake Nuttridge won the formal wear competition, Anthony Plutt won the minute to win it competition, and Corey Fisher won the interview competition.

The night was highlighted by a promposal made by Christian Frazier to his girlfriend Moira Toomey in the interview portion.
