Students to electrify their strings
On Tuesday, March 22, the BPHS and IMS orchestras will join forces and perform along side with professional rock violinist Haydn Vitera.
In the second annual Electrify Your Strings, Mr. Vitera will lead the kids in performing on traditional and electric string instruments.
“We will be performing songs including “Live and Let Die,” “Stairway to Heaven,” “Viva la Vida” and more!” said strings student Zoe Zilcosky.
This will be the second time Bethel Park will have hosted this event.
“This is the first time I will be participating in this concert, and I am very excited,” Zoe said.
The Electrify your strings concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Tickets will be selling at the door for $5 for adults and $3 for students.
