Man Of The Year returns April 9

It’s back… Senior Ways and Means will be hosting the Man Of The Year (MOTY) competition at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 9 in the High School Auditorium. MOTY is an annual competition between grades in which guys from each grade show off their dance skills.

Besides the group dance, each guy participates in one of the following categories: Best Personality, Mr. Photogenic, Talent, and Minute To Win It. The scores from this category help determine the overall scores.

Besides students, there will be a special dance performed by BPHS teachers: Mr. Allemang, Mr. Travis, Mr. Santora, Mr. Gentile, and new science teacher Mr. O’Brien. Mr. Allemang said, “I enjoy working with such a fun group of guys! Even though we lost Mr. Casagranda, we gained Mr. O’Brien, aka the best dressed teacher in the school.”

At the end of the night, a student from each grade will be awarded the title of Man Of The Year. Additionally, there is an overall winner and one grade will reign above the rest.

MOTY is a great tradition that will provide many laughs. Mr. Allemang said, “If you thought Man Of The Year was interesting last year, wait until you see what we have planned this time!”
