Students anticipate Glowfest dance
The much-anticipated Glowfest dance is finally here!
Leading up to the dance, there will be a spirit week during school Dec. 8-12. The spirit days are as follows:
Monday: Lazy Day
Tuesday: Tie Dye
Wednesday: Winter Sweatshirt Day
Thursday: College Shirt Day
Friday: Neon Day
The dance, run completely by NHS, will occur this Saturday, Dec. 13 in the high school cafeteria. It starts at 7 p.m. and ends at 10:30 p.m. You won’t want to miss a minute of it!
Tickets are on sale in the Activities Office starting Monday, Dec. 8. They are $10 each. $2 of each ticket will be donated to St. Jude’s Hospital.
You can even submit song requests for the dance in advance by tweeting a song with #glowtunes in your Tweet. During the dance, tweet your pictures using #bpglowfest2014!
NHS secretary Kaitlyn Ellsworth said, “Glowfest is definitely the best dance of the year, so everyone should come! NHS students on the Dance and Induction Committee put a lot of work into the dance, and everyone always has an amazing time!”
Don’t forget to wear your neon and bring your student ID to the dance. It’s one of the most popular events of the school year, don’t miss out!
