It’s back ladies and gentlemen. On Thursday, Apr. 10 at 7 PM in the Auditorium, BPHS will host their annual Man of the Year show. It’ll be a great comeback, since last year, BPHS did not have the show.
Man of the Year is a competition of selected boys from each grade to be qualified as “the funniest.” The funniest grade will be chosen by judges and also the funniest boy from each grade.
The boys who qualify to perform in MOTY are nominated during homerooms and the names that were voted the most are the ones chosen to perform. The boys choose someone they would like to escort them onto the stage and answer a few questions ahead of time for the speakers to let the audience know a little about them.
Varsity cheerleaders take the time to teach the boys a comical dance to perform in front of the audience that they make up on their own time. The boys also get to choose funny outfits to wear to entertain the viewers.
There have been rumors stirring about a group of teachers chosen to also perform a dance in front of the audience.
We can expect to enjoy a very humorous show again this year. Good luck to the following boys:
Seniors: Matt Carr, Matt Kinger, Dom Bertan, Joel Wescott, Kevin Boyle
Juniors: Brandon Maslanka, Ryan Veith, Luke Hahey, Alex Minton, Brian Malarkey
Sophomores: Brendan Todd, Charlie Davis, Luke Mace, Ryan Bilsky, Josh Sosnak
Freshman: Brevin Mastovich, Terron Murphy, Mike Kapusta, Cory Wiard, Jonathon Lucchitti
