BPHS DECA students are selling 9 and 12 oz. bags of Eli Merendon Coffee until January 31.
A portion of the profits will be distributed into the DECA students accounts to help fund their trip to the PA DECA State Conference in February.
The remainder of the profits will be sent to Honduras to help fund academic scholarships for their students.
This is the first year DECA students have sold coffee as a fundraiser. They hope to raise enough money to help students in both Bethel Park and Honduras.
The coffee is imported and distributed by a non-profit organization, the Coffee Arabica Foundation for Education, Inc. It’s led by Maria Leonard, a Bethel Park teacher at Neil Armstrong Middle School.
The 12 oz. bags are available in whole bean and ground. The 9 oz. bags are available in ground only. The coffee is organic and made with 100% Arabica Beans.
Children in Honduras are offered free public education until the sixth grade. School after that is not free for their students. If they wish to continue on through school, they must pay for it themselves. This fundraiser will help the BPHS DECA students, children in Honduras, and help give you a boost of energy every day.
