After months of running in the dirt, grass, rain, hills, and mud, runners are now moving on to the next part of their running lives: track.
The track team, this year, has high hopes for all of their team members. Each runner has shown much improvement from the last year and the freshmen have shown very good skills.
With all of this in mind, the runners are excited for the upcoming race at Kent State University on Saturday, Jan. 18.
Each runner this year shows good potential to do great, and many have high hopes to qualify for WPIALs at this track meet.
Since many meets have been canceled because of weather, the runners need to do very well during this race. If they don’t, they may only have two or three more races to qualify for WPIALs or States.
The track will be filled with runners with great talent, but runners from Bethel believe in one thing: hard work. This hard work will help them win this meet and conquer the events they are in.
Track has a bright future at Bethel Park, and hopefully the performance at this meet will show the hard work runners have put in these last months.
