Students experience blackout earlier than expected

Early this morning when students arrived to school, irony was palpable. Students had planned a blackout for tonight’s playoff football game against North Allegheny, but they got more than they bargained for, as the school’s lights were all out. There was much excitement as students arrived to homeroom after sitting in the cafeteria for around forty-five minutes. When they finally arrived to homeroom, they were told that they were most likely going to be sent home after the school contacted their parents. But to the students’ dismay, Dr. Jansante voiced over the loudspeaker that houses in the area had their power restored and that the school would have power shortly.
