Netflix has become popular all over the world and the upcoming original series Mindhunter, that will be filmed in Pittsburgh, could make it even more popular.

Pittsburgh, with its great scenery and beautiful views, is quite capable of grabbing any viewer’s attention. And with the shooting of this show being in the Spring, it is sure to attract many different viewers.

The series is being produced by actress Charlize Theron, actor Kevin Spacey and Jennifer Orme Erwin. Producing and directing will be David Fincher, and it will hopefully become as successful as Fincher’s House of Cards series.

Manhunter will be based on the 1996 book, Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Units and it will be about a team of FBI agents using criminal-profiling skills to track serial killers.

But this isn’t the first show that has been filmed in Pittsburgh this year. In fact, Mindhunter is the second television series that will shoot in Pittsburgh this year. The other, Outsiders, is returning for a second season for WGN America.
