Many people are familiar with the TLC show Say Yes to the Dress. The show features women looking for their dream wedding dress.  Mon Rivers Arts have decided to take this idea and make it their own.

“Say YES! To The Prom Dress” will be held Saturday, March 14 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. It will also be happening on Sunday, March 15 from 1 p.m.- 4 p.m. at 206 South Second Avenue in Elizabeth.

There will be a selection of previously owned formal dresses, dance wear and other items.  Many dresses will be sold for $25.

Normally, a prom dress can be sold for $100- $500. According to USA Today the average teenager will spend $1,139 on prom. This event will help many prom goers save money and look good doing it!

Mon River Arts is a non-profit organization. They are dedicated to expanding artistic opportunities to children and adults in the Mon Valley and Western Pennsylvania.
