Hawk Eye Ha Has: Students to get longer break between classes
With the dawn of the new e-Hallpasses, the administration has decided that five minutes is not really enough time for students to navigate their way through the four floors of BPHS to get to class. Not to mention the extra time needed to get books from their lockers.
Lucky for BPHS students, there will now be a whopping eight minutes between each class starting at the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year.
The extra three minutes between classes will also allow students more time to charge up their devices using the new charging stations, visit the Bean, and/or get a drink from the soon-to-be-installed new water bottle fill stations.
Unfortunately, for the Class of 2019, they will not be able to experience this new change, but underclassmen and years to come will be able to experience this life-changing alteration.
You may wonder how this will impact classes. Well, next year, ninth period will end at 2:55 p.m., so sorry students, the classes will still be about 40 minutes long.
With only a couple weeks left of the 2018-19 school year, you may wonder what prompted this decision. Let’s see if it will have the impact on our school that the faculty wants it to have.
