Despite its small size, the local ice cream shop Tasty Creme has surely earned its title.

After years of going to the ice cream shop, you start to notice how friendly the workers are, as well as the variety of different options available.

Tasty Creme offers specialties such as Helicopter Parfait, Patriotic Parfait, Oreo Extreme, Banana Split Special, Chocolate Lovers Flurry, Root Bear Float, Nutty Fudge Balls, Monkey in the Middle, ice cream cupcakes, an assortment of flurries, etc.

This local tasty feature even offers a variety of different slushies and smoothies; Grape, Bubble Gum, Root Berry, Blue Raspberry, Lemon Lime, Watermelon, Cherry, Orange, and strawberry slushies. Or maybe you just enjoy the pure simplicity of a cone, they have, Blue Goo, Green Apple, Black Raspberry, Raspberry, Banana, classic chocolate, vanilla soft serve, etc.

Tasty Creme also offers toppings such as chocolate and rainbow sprinkles, Oreos, cherry, chocolate, coconut, and blue goo dip, etc.

Independence Middle School 8th grader, Michael Conroy, recommends his favorites. “The Oreo Extreme is excellent but a simple chocolate cone is just as good,” Conroy said.

Although many options are listed above, these are probably only half of the options offered at Tasty Creme. The local shop is also one of the only ice cream shops to provide dog treats in the area.

They are open all days, 24 hrs, located on route 88, in South Park.

An active Tasty Creme customer Jenna Chernicky, a freshman at BPHS, adds, “Tasty Cream is my happy place!”
