‘Fuller House’ gets renewed for a Season 3
Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, and the rest of the Full House Spin-Off Cast and crew recently announced that their Netflix Series, Fuller House, has been renewed for a Season 3. What should viewers expect in the upcoming episodes, though? Have any spoilers been yet revealed? These questions and more will be answered as follows…
On Dec. 23rd of 2016, Jeff Franklin, the show’s creator, posted on his Instagram page that he had “big news” to share, and it was revealed soon thereafter that Fuller House is in fact getting a Season 3.
Now, what can fans expect to see in the upcoming season? According to an article written on www.eonline.com, Candace Cameron Bure, who plays D.J. Fuller, stated that, “I think we’ll have a few fun surprises in store. Nothing obviously that I can share, and we’re still a month away so I have yet to learn even more details.” She also added her genuine excitement towards the success of the show’s second season, stating, “We’re so thrilled, so happy that people loved season two even more.”
Few details have been yet released, so it seems, about the upcoming adventures of the Fuller clan, but Franklin did happen to mention that Season 3 will have a total of eighteen episodes compared to its former thirteen.
Besides inquiries regarding spoilers, though, fans have also been asking about a possible reprise of the role of Michelle Tanner, played by Mary-Kate Olson and Ashley Olson in the original Full House program. Jodie Sweetin, who plays Stephanie Tanner, commented on the matter during the promotion of Season 2, saying that “It’s just: open invite.” Andrea Barber, who plays Kimmy Gibbler, also mentioned that the “Door’s always open, anytime they want to come.” Though it is unlikely that the twin sisters will return to the program, many hopeful fans still have faith that ‘Michelle’ will come back once more.
All in all, though, if Season 3 is anything like Seasons 1 and 2, the Fuller House cast, crew, and fans alike should be nothing but pleased. The first two seasons, it should be added, are streaming on Netflix now and, as repeated multiple times throughout the series, “It’s always open!” If you can, check it out! Why not?
